I found a job in a company after my graduation from university. Thank to my hard work, I got promoted several times and my salary keep increasing. Although I think myself very successful at my current job, My mum often persuades me to give up and try to find a teaching job. Her reason is very simple: Being a teacher means stable salary, less pressure and the most important thing is better walfare after retirement. Actually this is true situation in China. Companies do not offer good working conditions. They lay off workers when the economy is bad and the pension for company workers is much less than teachers or workers in the government. That is why there are millions of university graduates choose to take the test to become a member in the government. I would like to know your thoughts if you are living in China. Do you want to become a teacher rather than work in a company? If you are living out of China, what is the situation in your country? Do you meet with the same problem?

In my mind to be a teacher would benefit a girl or woman, as you described teacher is more stable compare to worker in other company, and teacher has more leisure time than others, also teacher is good at teaching and cultivates her offspring well.
