When I was a student, I once did some part time work in a restaurant, I help to send the dishes for every table. I made a wrong when I did the part time work, I remembered I worked at first day, I don't have any experience do work in restaurant before, when I put the dishes on table, I dirty the customer's clothes, which I made a mistake, I fired by the restaurant. How about your experience when you are a student? Did you do part time work?

I worked in a nursing home when I was a nursing student. It was a nice part time job, I learned a lot of things that were useful for me as a nursing student, and at the same time I earned some money. In the summer holidays I worked there every day for two months, but when school started again I couldn't work every day any more, so I usually worked in the weekends. Sometimes I also worked in the evenings, but they were very nice to me, and if I was too busy because of exams or things like that I was always able take some time off. I sometimes miss my work, my co-corkers and the residents.

I did parttime work as a student. I had to, otherwise there is no way I could have paid for my studies, living expenses or even been able to buy books to study in the first place. It is a great way to socialize and a great way of getting some extra experience. I think that it is recommendable for prospective students.

It said experience.

I worked part time all throughout college. I did office work for a few years because my boss was very good about my school schedule. Now I work full time and do school on my own time so I can become a teacher next year.

But, I just remembered, I did had a job about 12 years ago. It was a part time job. I was in school full-time. That is the only job that I can think of that I had.

At my age, we did not have the opportunity to do parttime job when in school, but I remember helping my mother do sewings and knitting during vacations, and the reward was substantial in my eyes. I believe doing parttime job during vacations is necessary for students. In addition to the financial benefits, students could learn from the hardship experience, which may help them for future challenges.

Hi bettydeng5, Yeah, it was fun remembering the old times when doing part time jobs. I bet you must laugh out loud or at least smile and feel so funny inside when remembering the incident while you were working first time in the restaurant. Everybody makes mistakes here and there, and that makes our lives colourful and full of event so we don't feel boring. As for myself, I did a part time job once when I was a student too. At that time I was studying in the International University but is situated in my country. Even though my father was a lecturer and he earned enough money, he didn't give me enough pocket money so I have to find my own money to support my living. My experience was rather memorable and somewhat romantic. I really like to recall this experience because it is one of the most fantastic experience which I wish could come over again and again in my life. At that time I went to the nearest town with my best friend to find for a part time job. We walked and walked along the shophouses but none of the shops wanted any worker. I walked past a chicken outlet without asking them whether there were any vacancy because I overlooked the store. Then my instinct told me to turn back and look. There it was, the chicken store and I decided to come in and ask. My friend didn't have any opinion herself, so I just dragged her along with me. Fortunately, it was our luck. There were vacancy for both of us. We could start work immediately and I was the happiest person ever. There, I met with my present husband, the one and only husband whom I love very much. It was the most romantic moment, and everybody in the store knew we were in love and they were the witness of our love story. There were faults and errors here and there while working there, but because I was in love nothing else matters.

yes once when i was a student i share my time with working part time as a credit card marketing. Off course looking prospective customer is not an easy job, sometimes i must get off the streets by offering direct product which i sell, but it taught me a lot of important things that need to sacrifice to get some money.

It's a pity taht when I was in university, I never went out for a part time job. I ever thougt that it would disturb my attention and affted study. I firmly believe that as long as I had a good knowledge , I needn't worry about the job apportunities after graduation. However, when I finally left the college and entered sociey, I realized how important the part-time working experience was, especially for the fresh graduates.Working experience ,in fact, has the same wight as the firm knowledge background.
