Why is there a generation gap between the old and the young in a family?

Yes, It is an unavoidable phenomenon for us to face the gap between two generations. As long as the world is developing, we will have to meet the difficulities of communication with our parents or children. When children are growing, it's becoming more difficult for parents to understand the kind of world their children are entering. It is a difficult task for us to bridge a generation gap between parents and children largely due to neither one realizes that this gap exist. Perhaps what we can do it just to try our best to communicate with others and unstanding is a necessity to bridge the generation gap.
