i had 5 years of piano lesson and still play piano occasionally,i can play piano, acoustic guitar, saxophone, flute, cello. i acquired a cello, and thats my primary instrument. i have been taking cello lessons for more than 7 years. a person dont need to take lessons for so long but i enjoy the challenge of playing more and more advanced music, and lessons keep me practicing so i do not go backwards. the cello is less strenous than a violin that you have to grip between your jaw and shoulder.you also have to have a good ear for pitch.other than that its just matter of little practice and time. i also arrange music for a small community of orchestra and play the cello with orchestra. its realy fun to play with a group.

Hello. No, I can't play any musical instrument. I wish I could. In fact, I tried to learn to play my favorite instrument, the harp, once before. But, I didn't make much progress. I like the harp music very much, very enchanting. I have a collection of CDs of orchestral music, and I just love listening to them whenever I have the time.

This topic has been posted before. Hope it would not be deleted.
Anyway, i do know how to play clarinet, a little of saxophone and piano, and a guitar.
If you want to learn drums, I suggest you enroll in a music school, because reading the notes for drums are a bit complicated compared to the notes for guitars and other musical instruments.

Though its not obvious in my face, I play guitar, acoustic or electric. I also play keyboard. I started to learn how to play guitar when I was 10 years old and keyboard when I was 15. Whenever me and my friends have nothing to do, we're jamming and I'm on the guitars. :)

Hi, BloodShyne.
I can play guitar but only basic chords. I'm still learning to play my favourite songs but it's not easy as i expect! The strings are painful to hold. It's been years of learning but every time my fingers hurt i stop playing/learning. I do wanna learn but i can't stand the pain. Any tips? Do you know how to play "here without you" by 3 doors down? that's what I've been trying to play.

Hi Bloodshyne,
I play guitar. This is the only instrument that i exerted effort to learn. i was so inspired to learn. The one who taught me on how to play it is my husband. He was then my boyfriend and that's part of our bonding sessions.

I play keyboard in the church, i start learning it by myself. Later i studied for it but not a long term study. i also want to play guitar because i don't know how to play it; i only know 4 chords in guitar. i told my brother to teach me guitar but he don't want to teach me because he is lazy of teaching me, hahaha. But anyway i'm still praying that somebody will teach me how to play guitar.

The only instrument i can play is harmonica, at the age of 8, I took part in the interest group. A strict teacher taught us how to play the harmonica, but I did bad on it. since that, I don't play it any more.
