I am a little overweight i want to know why i dont lose weight as i watch my diet eat right kind of food and exercise daily. these things dont seem to help.I am a very active person it is not that i am always lying down or resting that i am overweight.
I joined a slimming centre and was made to do crash dieting it helped till the time i was going to the centre and taking machines and not eating anything at all. As soon as i started eating again i gained the pounds i lost in the centre. i cant live on salads and furits all my life and i feel weakness because of that even if i want to exercise i am unable to do it.
Pls tell me what should i do? i dont have thyroid or i dont eat junk foods.

It's probably your metabolism. Your metabolism is probably used to the way you eat and exercise, meaning that to lose weight, you need to pump it up a little bit and go into overdrive. It's always hard for those of us who have slower metabolisms. I feel like I have a slow metabolism too, making it MUCH harder to lose weight (than those with faster metabolisms.) . Try to just make HEALTHY choices, drink A LOT of water, and exercise - as much as you can. Running is a good way to burn calories and work out your "core". Otherwise biking and walking and pretty much any other kind of cardio exercise is a good idea. You should also try to weight train twice a week or as often as you can. Muscles burn more calories than fat per pound (I forget the ratio - but it's shocking!) and gaining muscle mass will eventually help you LOSE weight. It's confusing, but ultimately true. If you drink soda? Maybe a resolution to STOP, as carbonated beverages ,even the kind with no calories ("diet" sodas) - cause us to eventually gain weight. The only liquid we can REALLY trust are 100% fruit juices and water. So keep trying, and try to pump up your workout routine and eating habits, and I'm sure that the weight will eventually come off!

I've read about eating just fruits helps you to lose your weight.
Try to consume just fruits, different types of fruits for your meals..start off with three days straight.you shall see the different..then try for a week..means what you eat will just be fruits..other than that, also do some excercise! It will also help to burn your slight overweight..if you have try..tell me how it goes..kay? heehee

You need to be eating lots of fruits and vegetables, but you need protein to give you the energy to work out. If your doing the same exercises try changing them up a bit, adding more weights. You need to keep your body guessing at what your going to do next. Not eating is never a healthy way to lose weight. Good luck!!

hi hash007... I also gained weight after I gave birth to my baby girl. What I did after 6 months is that I avoided eating between meals. I just drink water when during mean time I see to it I ate just enough for me to feel full. Then after two weeks I lose about 4lbs.
