Is Love the reason why we also Hate ?

Our world is made up of objects at equilibrium or balance ,for example where there is fire ..there is water to put it out , where there is good ..there is bad to equal it out ...
Using this method of thinking ... is the existence of love the only reason why hate also exists?
Would the world be any different without both?

I agree with you.If the world want to keep balance,any things must have contradictory objiects.

This is a very philosophical question, and Im not sure I could so justice with my reply.
I suppose hate is a consequence to failed love, but that is simplistic. Hate occurs for lots of reasons. Hate for another country or government, hate for your neighbour, etc.
Love can be between man and woman, parents and children, siblings, cousins, etc.
So they are not neceassarily direct opposites.
The World would definitely be different withlut hate, and there is no need to give examples of that.
Without Love? We would be devoid of humasn emotions, not able to experience deep love for fellow human beings. The consequence of this, I guess, is no compassion, no humanity, no forgiveness.
I wouldnt want to live in a world with no love.

Hi samawati: I respect this phylosophy but i don't think that hate should exist as an opposite force for love. In my opinion, hate it's simply the abscence of love and there's nothing good on it, it's not necessary and i definetly think that the world good be a better place if people would express more love and respect to each other. Even with that i think this is a very interesting discussion. Have a nice day.
