Do you take a bath before going to sleep at night?

Taking a bath is a very common thing to all. But not all take a bath in the morning or before going to work. Some are doing their bath before going to sleep at night. Inspite of an all-day work, still, they will take a bath even they feel
tired.
However, thinking it further, is it really safe to take a bath at night? That, inspite of the tired feeling, you will choose to have a bath before going to sleep. Do you think, it will not do any harm for the health because of the cold feeling that you will feel inside and out of the body?
Do you have a good advise for those who do this?

Hi Aerous,
Do you think its safe to take a bath before going to bed at night? Since you are already exhausted during day time, so the tendency is, your body is already tired.

Hello Verena,
Just like you, I am just doing the facial wash and brushing of my teeth before sleeping. Thinking that, it is enough to have a good night sleep.
Happy Mylotting.

Hi Gina2008,
With regard to your response, I think I also feel the same. I find it hard to sleep after bathing. So it will be difficult for me to have a sound sleep at night.

hello friend,
Of course after a hard day work of long hours, don't just go directly and have bath.
Have some rest for at least few minutes...sit back and relax for a while.
And a hot bath is a good way to relax some muscles..never a cold water bath.
yah,a warm bath is good to ease some tension and stressed muscles and mind too.

Good day to you jaiho2009,
Thank you for the response.
However, is it really safe? Do you think it will not cause any pain on the nerve like rheumatism or muscle pain since the nerves are already tired and yet, they will be in active mode again after taking a bath.

I know it is good habit bath before sleeping but it is not possible for me because at night after completing my house chores I feel tired and no capacity of bathing. I will try now summer season but hard for me.

Hi airasheila!
There are times I do and there are times I don't. When it is hot, I always make sure that I take a bath before I go to sleep at night. But when it is cold and I do not find it necessary to take a bath at night, then I don't.

I've never had a problem with bathing before going to bed. I don't do one at night to often but if I"m not working the next day I will. However, if I have to work I would prefer to take a shower some time before I needed to go to work on my work days.

hi there!...
yeah!i always..do but not take a bath..bathing the whole body from head to foot..
just half bath..its hard to sleep fast if your hair is still all wet..
specially like mines my hair is thick and long..
so i prefer to do half bath..
its very comfortable to take a half bath before sleeping..
makes us more relax and can easily sleep right away..
and it keeps us clean ..avoids from viruses and bacteria that we carry from the outside..
now a days we must avoid getting sick..crisis is rising..
so we must always be conscious of our health..
it also avoids irritability in going to sleep..or from skin itching..
thanks!
goodnight!

Hi airasheila Beautiful username!
I often do this and so far have no problem. I take a bath in the morning, aftetnoon and sometimes in the night too. I've ever read books and heard talkshow in radio about take a bath in the night. From what I've heard, there's no problem taking a bath in the night. Better if you do it with hot/warm water but medically take a bath in the night is okay (no difference with take a bath in the morning). Hot water will make our blood circulation better and thus we feel relax and easier to sleep in the night. Oh, there's on exception. If you have rheumatism better not to do it (I forget the reason..)

I've never been a bath person. I prefer showers. I hear that taking a bath at night before bed is a good thing, though. It can help a person relax, unwind and sleep better.

Taking a bath before going to bed makes one feel relax, and can easily fall asleep.
So,it is very necessary.

sometimes i take a shower at night. i havent taken a bath in a bathtub since in a long time. i prefer showers, instead. but sometimes i shower in the morning, especially when i need to go out somewhere later. so, it depends on my mood and what i will be doing on that day. i take showers any time that i feel like it. it doesnt really matter what time of day or night.

something are unfair, what do you think?you could take a bath each day,but there are many people can't do such thing out there?i used to take bath after off work every day,but now it's impossible to me,cause this could be done in summer or some richers do this everyday, and this place where i lived is short at water, and winter now,it's easy to get cold ,so i don't take bath often, every week once or half month ,not a month?

I always take a warm bath before going to bed. It makes me sleep better and I have that clean fresh feeling.
There are some old folks' tale saying that it is bad for your health to take baths at night but I don't know. I used to believe it but then, hmm, I do it now.

As for me, I do not take a shower at night.
I just have a sponge bath. This is because I am always in front of the computer (even at home) and my hands are tired because of typing.
Though I do think that taking a bath at night is safe as long as you take a rest first before plunging into the shower.

For me,there is no question if you will take a beth in the morning or evening. Because it's nice to take a bath everyday , you feel fresh. But you know, I still remember when I was young , my mother doesn't allow us to take a bath in the evening. Not only that during our monthly period. You know old people, they have plenty of rituals and sayings or things to be follow or practice.
