Do you ever make a surprise for your friend's birthday?

I did it a few days ago. One day before her birthday, I pretend to be mad of her for something she had done. She tried to apologize, but i didn't response her. I'm sure she was so sad that day. But on her birthday, with some friends I prepared a karaoke party for her. When she knew it she cried happily. She was happy not just because I remember her birthday, but also because I was never really mad of her. I'm happy for her birthday. But what make me really happy is that our friendship is getting stronger. Do you ever do and feel the same thing like I did?
