Life is about relationships. We meet, communicate, and either bond or go our separate ways. We bond for a variety of reasons and much of the time because we share a common interest. From a passing smile to an endless conversation with a stranger the depth of our bond will vary and with some of those connections we will bond for life.
In the virtual world we can connect with those having similar interests and attitudes from a global community we would otherwise not be able to experience. A building of trust in the virtual world is the same as in real life, but, I have found virtual sharing moves much faster than that in real life. We tend to share more quickly and more openly in a virtual relationship than in a real life relationship perhaps because of the lack of the other persons presence.
A building of trust is the same in virtual as it is in real. A liar is still a liar and a deceiver is still a deceiver. We must only need pay attention and the truth always comes out.
Virtual relationships can be very rewarding when an effort is put forth by both individuals. I am very blessed to have a cyber mate who is devoted to our online relationship. Our relationship is deeper, richer, and more meaningful than any I have ever experienced and his love and devotion has added a dimension in life I never knew existed.
