what is the basic purpose of life??

THe basic purpose of life, is to be friutfull and multiply,not actually friutful in bearing children. But be friutful in the gift which God has planted in us and multiply it so that the world can benefit, just as we all have defferent friuts of the spirit and great gifts placed in us to make life meaningful not only to us but to others, the problem with life now is that some poeple have not yet discovered what actually is thier purpose for living thats why we all are still struggling with so many things. Some poeple are meant to just give love to others so they keep living, some are meant to do some other things like discovering new adventures, but yet love covereth all because actually God wants us to make use of these gifts with love. so i would say the basic purpose of living is love thats why the word goes with life and love. LOVE INDEFINATELY FOR EVER.(LIFE)

Live well, take care of others and be happy. Not much more to it than that. If you're religious, worship your God and do what he wills. Pray for his will and not for your way.

I think it depends on one's view of their own life. What their particular morals, values and belief systems are. For some it could be as simple as just living and fulfilling your dreams, for some it is being known, or famous, and for some it is just creating a comfortable life with what you have. The purpose of any living creature is to help their species to continue. As far as humans are concerned, I don't think it means having as many children as possible - it is just as important to help one another to survive. This involves caring for other people and the planet to ensure our survival as a species.
