Do you feel bad when you attack people. . .

. . .that are too easy of a target? In SpaceInvasion, or something similar in real life, do you feel bad whenever you "attack" people? In the game, I do not have many good targets to attack. There are only a few planets which can yield profitable raids. So, being a raider, I must attack these peoples' planets to get resources. They say that in this game, nothing is wrong with raiding, and that "even the pope would raid in this game." So, I shouldn't have any regrets. What I feel bad about is that some of the people I attack do not even try to take the precautions or try to escape before I hit. Over the course of several months I have occasionally attacked these people, and they keep rebuilding their fleets and whatnot, their resources get replenished - and then I attack them again. I just feel bad destroying all their ships, and since there aren't many people I can target I have to focus many attacks on a small group of people. . . I find myself having to attack the same person several times to get enough resources. They rebuild, and I destroy them again, and they rebuild again. . . All the while they do not make the escape flights try to stop me. They don't even contact me to tell me to stop I always expected one of them to learn from their mistakes and pose a challenge to me but it never happens. Just now I destroyed someone's ships and recycled them; the person probably went to sleep without escaping their ships again. I can't find anyone else to attack and I'm afraid if I keep raiding these people they might quit the game. Then where would I get my resources from? Let me see if I can make this discussion "respondable" to people who don't play the game. . . Do you ever beat someone over and over at something and they just won't learn from their mistakes? How do you feel about this. . .?

I feel bad when I beat someone repeatedly, but only a little bad. I only play games with people who can "take it" and may indeed fight back.

But it mostly depends on the person; those people I attacked did not learn and kept leaving themselves unprotected. . .
