I have a couple of Nirvana cds but I really do not listen to them anymore. the only time I really hear nirvana anymore is on the radio. But they play them quite frequently. At least three times a day. So I get my nirvana fix that way.

Actually as someone who grew up on the hair bands and metal of the 80's, bands like Nirvana are ones I disliked because it indicated a shift to the "alternative" which didn't have the drive of the guitar that the metal bands had. I think that's what I always liked about metal, and it's something Nirvana really didn't have.
Of course it's music so there's no wrong opinion, but this is why I'm not a major fan of Nirvana.

Yes. They are (were?) great! I was never an avid follower of the group, but they have some fantastic songs that I have loved since junior high.
