what do the stars mean?

The star beside your name is your reputation. You have it after you reach 100 post. The number on the star would tell about how you were rated by the other members. The highest star would be 10 points. Keep on doing a quality post so your star will increase.

hey there bucket kid.. as what everyone explained to me when i posted a similar post as yours, the stars indicate your reputation here in mylot.. the maximum is 10.. if you have a star it means people like your posts and they rate it.. so it is basically like peoples choice.. if they like you then you have a bigger numbered star. :D have fun mylotting

hi bucket kid the stars have to do with the positive ratings you get from fellow mylotters.the blue star is the highest then red then yellow on down to a 4 I think. the longer you are here and do good posts the more higher your rating will go. good luck.

I guess by now you know what the stars mean. Its the reputation rating that we receive from our activity on myLot. I'm happy mine is 9/10. And if you hover on the star you'll see that its rating are out 100. Maybe out of every 100 posts, 90 of posts are rated positive! Wow, thanks everyone. Thanks myLot.

The first responder is right. It refers to your reputation here on mylot and how the users here rate you depending on your discussion and your response. The star with the highest rating is blue=10; red follows with 9; yellow=8; white=7; pink=6; green=5; maroon=4; the rest i don't know. Just post quality discussion and response and your rating will go up.
