Christmas pictures: do you and your family take 'em?

This year I really want to take Christmas pictures with my family. None of them want to pay for it though, so I was thinking about just having everyone get dressed up and use the self-timer on my digital camera (and then having them printed out at Walgreens or something). Do you have any advice for me, on this? Where is the best place to get the digital prints developed? And where should we stand in front of? (I know in a lot of home-made pictures, sometimes people put blankets up and whatnot.. but I don't really want to do that.) Would in front of the Christmas tree make a good picture? What do you think? Have you ever made "home-made" "ghetto" Christmas pictures? How did it go? Or do you get them professionally done?

Hello maezee Yeah, me and my family does that, (unfortunately). The thing is, we are 8 brothers and sisters, so its really hard to set up everything and in result, it sometimes can be stressful to do such things(and im not counting ones with my grandparents, or my uncles and aunts). As long as i remember, every year we have done it, so its a tradition for us. I actually dont mind taking the picture, which is always home made ghetto as you have describe it. Cheers
