You might be referring to affiliate method. There's actually a lot of other means to earn from blogging. Get-paid-to blog is much easier than affiliate marketing. There's a lot of get-paid-to blog sites such as ReviewMe, PayPerPost, Buyblogreviews where you can earn a good amount monthly.

Good for you. I tried and failed miserably. at blogging that is. I just do not have the time or patience or money to get the traffic required. Not just that, you gotta convert that traffic into sales. I wonder what your methods are...

What is GDi ? I would definetly like to know more about this. I have been earning through differnet sources of internet but never came accross GDI so plz tell me something more about it..

GDI lets you subscribe for a domain which eventual you'll need to pay 10$ every month to maintain your subscription. The only way to make money the most out of it is to get as many referrals as you can. I think if not mistaken you get 1$ per referral. If you have 100 refs who pay every month for subscribing you'll get 100$ every month. To good to be truth but looking for 1 referral for this site is somewhat search a needle in a forest. GDI can definitely earn you good amount. I am working in a team and the best thing is that we are giving free signups in GDI... if someone is not good in recruiting people in GDI then they need not to bother about this as we will help him in getting signups..Our system is awesome..
