Tags Inserted Automatically

Why is it that tags that I did not place in my discussion are automatically put there by the mylot system. I don't understand that 
. For example I noticed that one tag that was inserted in my discussion doesn't in any way related to the discussion. Why is that? Mylot users do you also notice that tags that you do not add there in your discussion are inserted automatically?

When you start a discussion you have the chance to add a maximum of 10 tags. If you leave some empty then others can add them regardless of whether they respond or not.
The only tag that is added automatically is 'mature content' if in the text there is something which myLot picks up that could fall into that category.
The 5 tags which are visible are those which have been added the most.

I went to your profile and can see which discussion is concerning you. I think, but I am not absolutely certain, that in the response @4 there is a word which myLot's script would have picked up. The responder includes the word 'in*est' in the response. Thatcould be what caused the tag to change.

i think you might have used one or more words that are not suitable for all users. you know what i mean.

all tags are not being added automatically. i believe that the tag (unrelated to your discussion) is being added by one of your respondents.

Hi levite,
I haven't noticed the same yet. I am always putting my own tags when starting a discussion and which is only showing in my discussions until I get replies. More tags will be added by the responders only. I think this way, I know about my tags only and I am adding only one tag when posting discussions. Tags are very necessary in discussions, may be you are not adding the tags so mylot is adding the same purposely. Please try next time adding your own tags and see the difference.

hi. The same thing happened to me just today. I placed one tag and all of a sudden 3 tags were added. Worst, the tags are "spam" "more spam" and "spammer".
I know that responders can add tags too. But this time when I noticed it, I dont have any replies or comments yet. As in nobody has responded yet. And it was only a minute passed after i posted when I noticed it.
So, what's happening now?

Hi eihdra. Mysdiana says that we can add up to five tags that can be visible in our discussions. The problem is that when we have only added fewer than five and the responders add "tag" not related with our discussion, it will appear there. The solution, I think, is adding more tags before anybody adds his own tag.

What happens actually is that when you start a discussion you insert tags yourself for the discussion. Now when members of myLot respond to your discussion they are also asked for adding tags. Now if any of these members add tags to their response, these tags are automatically assigned or inserted to the discussion.
In short, all tags posted by the owner of the discussion and the responders of the discussion belong to the discussion.
