Or am i a bit nutty as i almost finished my Christmas shopping and December isn't even here yet.
I still plan to get a few things, like a book for my girlfriend to add to her already started Christmas gift, and something to add to my mum's present, but otherwise i am all set and ready for this holiday season.
I just can't wait to put on the Christmas tree and i am already listening to Christmas songs for a couple of weeks now at least.
How about you are you all set ? Or are you at least thinking about Christmas yet ?
Ps: How about your Panda ? Will he get something this year ? Mine has a whole package of bamboo flying from China on Christmas Eve.

Hey thanks for dropping by :D I guess i earned it answering over 20-25 posts of yours :
Anyway i know you are busy so i am quite happy you managed to reply here.
I also did my shopping in silence and relax, and it calms me and makes happier - i wish i had more money to make them more lovely and more often.

Nope, Im sure you're not the only one on that bandwagon.LOL However, I gotta say that I might just catch the last train on that one. Im busy with school and everything else. Sigh.. I am looking forward to the holidays though. That means I can get a break from all this madness. Im barely alive. My schedule planner already has scribbles on every box for each day. There's at least one important thing that I have to do. Well, at least I have perspective on what needs to be done each day so when I finish them, then Im good to do what I want for the rest of the day.^_^
Even though I havent yet bought gifts or prepared for the Christmas Season, I am currently taking mental notes on what to give each person that means to me.
My panda seems to be sleeping a lot these days. I guess Ive been overstuffing him, and its not even officially the Christmas holidays.

Hi elitess,
Good for you for being so organised. I haven't started any shopping at all but I know I will do most of it online, so I am not to worried about the last minute rush. As for the Panda, I think he was asking for a nice hat this year
But I know I will slip some bamboo shoots into his Christmas stocking.

I just saw your post with the panda game link. Else I was thinking to myself- Did I just 'virtual' meet a guy who is crazier than me? Always talking about a panda. Now that I have seen the game, I feel much better.
It's great that you bought those gifts for everyone this soon. Did you get a few gifts for yourself too? Was that the reason for the rush? I am thinking about Christmas a lot. Just waiting for it to come.
My panda gets a special treat this time. It's a secret- If I tell you, I'll have to kill you.

Yep, you're the only one elitess and you're an absolute NUTTER!!! Then again, I think you'll have many others stating they've done the same, so we may as well open a facility for all you maniacs I reckon. My Panda's getting a stocking full of organic bamboo seeds for Christmas this year. I'm tired of the ongoing importation hassles to secure fresh bamboo every week, so as far as I'm concerned, the lazy little wanker can grow his own from now on.

Nope, you are not the only nutty one. I haven't done it myself, but I know of quite a few people who have done the Christmas shopping already. It makes sense when you really think about it. The madness of the shopping mall just is too much near Christmas. Many people don't want to associate Christmas with all that stress.
I, on the other hand, don't mind the stress of shopping on Christmas eve day. For me Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without that. Just something I associate with the way things were done in my childhood. And childhood memories is a big part of experiencing Christmas.

You certainly are a good planner! I have just begun to make my gifts, they will be very simple this Christmas. Mostly I'm giving hand made produce bags made of muslin that keep vegetables and lettuce good for a couple of weeks rather than just a few days. The material cost me just a couple of dollars and my family will love them!
I don't usually put up my tree till the 18th and I take it down the 1st. My family has always done this. I don't like to rush the season but I do enjoy seeing others decorate early--it heightens my anticipation! Already there are lights being put on houses and decorations on lawns!
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

My husband and I have our Christmas Shopping done except for one person, and then we'll be done. We went out one Saturday and shopped for a few hours, came home, wrapped the presents, then about a week or is it two? In any case, we ordered something for his mom a few days ago, a week or two from when we originally shopped.
Fairly Quick Shopping actually.
