is poker a game of luck or skill?

recently,i've been playing poker (again) online.i started playing poker when i was in college and learned it from a friend.it is an addictive again.i stopped before,now i'm doing it again.and as i play,i can't help but ask--is poker just a game of luck or skill?sometimes,my strategy works,but sometimes, it doesn't.now,i'm thinking it just purely luck...right?

It's only a skill I made over $120,000 this year alone playing online poker. And was averaging about 100$/h To those who know how to play it's skill to those who don't know how to play its luck ;)

So can you help me out then? I loss 30 dollars in pokerstar.com I have 5 dollars left and I don't use it..just sitting their.. May I know the online site you play..and can you help me increase my income? I'm an addict poker..but still I believe its just 10% skills and 90% luck.. I loss eight out of two when I have AA same with KK.. ..... So if their a chance that you can share your skills with me..I'm truly happy.. thank you

well to play poker I suggest to read about poker. Then play online with game chips , and then freerolls(win money, without using any of yours) . Finally use your own money. That is what I did. Because If you play for real money without any knowledge of poker, you lose a lot. I might say its both . Luck is what cards you get and getting a good hand. Skill comes In play when you read people... about strategy I can say that you cant always count on 1 Strategy. If you play with same players, they will know what you might too.

well poker is a gambling game and you can win in it only wen 90% of luck and 10% of skill is wid you.....

can i know the site? I'm playing online too its 40% skills 50% luck and 10% winning chance..lolz if you want we can play together in a table and maybe we can help each other to win..
