weird boots

I love weird boots and shoes, new rock etc, odd looking, anything really unusual. Why? because most people dont look at your shoes and they are an absolutely wonderful way of showing your personality while still "appearing" normal to the less observant. My friend and I went shopping when we were teenagers for Doctor Martin boots - quite fruity at the time! they had just come out with colour! but I couldnt decide on the purple or the red? Oh! pressure! So I said to my friend I'll get one of each! Confused? well so was the guy who we bought them off. I can still see him scratching his head! Lucky we both had the same sized feet. I still love those boots, they are old and have what I would call character, (where do you get purple shoe polish? I'd love to restore their beauty!) my mum calls it "scruffy and ready for the bin!" but the fun I've had wearing those boots! The marvelous people I am now friends with because of those kooky boots! Memories are what makes your life full and satisfying! The best times are the silliest. What do you think?
