Do You Think Dreams Carry Real Meaning?

People usually dreams when something is going through their sub-conscious mind, be it their internal wishes, or some disturbing matters etc etc... In my case,usually I have a deep sleep at night,so cant even recollect the dreams that goes past my mind... however,I think that the funny imaginations that I dream of rather helps me to have a good night's sleep :)

I believe dreams carry real meaning it's just that we can't really fully understand or interpret it unlike God's servant Joseph in the ancient times he was able to interpret dreams how I wish I can have that gift lol

I think dreams are meant to drive you forward life yea .

once, i had a dream where a dumb cop came to my door with a snake in his hand. now, i know cops are snakes but what else does that symbolize to me? well, at the time i was dealing with someone that i mistrust. so, both symbols...the cop and the snake could represent that person in my life...fear and mistrust.

Absolutely dreams carry real meanings. In my view of point, dreams relate to what have happened aroud you. I believe that we all have experiences that some things we had done before appeared in our dreams, but usually in an obscure way. Sometimes many scenes joined together making an almost totally new story. Haven't you? But I refuse to admit that dreams can predict something. So if you have a nightmire it dosen't mean that you will have a bad luck or something terrible will happen. In fact we keep dreaming all through the night but we only can remmember a little part, so most of time we even don't know whether our dreams are good or not. Just take it easy and never let a bad dream get you down!

Yea, I'm 100% agree with you..and i'hv got proved, normally i like to see/make dreams, like to think about that dreams..for that result i got so many answer..those are help me much..and i think if we make dreams and try to follow that then we can success to reach our goal. One interesting thing in my life... few month ago i saw a dreams when i was in deep sleep..In that nyt i waked 3 times but when i went bed to sleep next time the dreams started again from the ending stages...same as three times...so after ending of sleep in the morning i got a new idea.. which helped me to write a history.."Mid-dreams". And i can't forget that sweet dram....:)) Thank you..

My dreams do not convey any message. They do not have any meaning nor do they give any hints of the future. There is a saying that the dream one sees at sunrise or early morning is likely to be true. Such a thing has not happened to me. Perhaps you can keep a tab of your early morning dream.

Hi, Torrs! This is an interesting discussion. I have always believe that some dreams do have meaning and it is up to us to put them together based on the past event that occurred in our lives that will somehow give us signs about something that is going to happen in future. It's quite a mysterious, but it always like that to me and my family. So, we never took lightly when we have dreams.

Dreams really do carry real meaning as most times they are the workings of our subconscious mind. The real challenge comes with knowing which aspects of our dreams to take literally (if any at all) and really just interpreting our dreams. I have had dreams that actually related to my life and have helped me to sort it out.

Hi Torrs13, i do believe that dreams reflect one's life meanings, meanings which when correctly interpreted having something to do with day to day living and that sort of things. I have many instances, where dreams had proven to be correct. So relying upon my own experiences regarding dreams, i must say i do believe in it. Thank you.

there are some of my dreams that gives a meaning to my life..Some also happens on reality..

I think that they can mean more than just nothing there is something called lucid dreaming, where the dreamer can take control of their dreams, or they can just sit back and just watch (in a conciseness state) taking in all of the details of the dream like a movie =] I think that dreams have a lot of potential.

hey,,, well, i do have the capability in understanding the meanings of the dreams as i do believe in them as well...they do bring so many signs to so many things happening in either my life or others' lives as well...

I have had a lot of dreams which I think are in every way connected to my life including disturbing ones, funny ones, ones which I have wished never ended! Dreams do carry a lot of meaning since it is our subconscious that is the most active when we are dreaming. And whatever thoughts or apprehensions we have,manifest themselves clearly in our dreams. What happens with me is that when I wake up I do not remember the dream too distinctly after a few minutes. Nevertheless,I love dreaming!

definately each dream has its own meaning but you shoulkd have the knowledge to understand ....

i have a few dreams which came to past so i think dream do contain a certain meaning behind it just that we never though of it with much detail but my dream are all short like 3-5 seconds so i can't really see my future so therefore i can say that my dream can guide me to know what i might be doing in the future

I have always been a strong believer that some of the messages that life is trying to convey to us was being relayed to us through our dreams and like what happened to our oldest parents Mariah and Joseph God did bring the messages that he wanted to tell them through their dreams, right?
