The IF's in Life often become your stumbling block. Don't let them get to you. Sometimes we tend to be too safe with everything and end up being blocked from what were really going for.
So heres a list on how to use these Ifs as your launchpads
1. if it aint broke, dont break it
2. If you don't know, say you don't know. (Theres no shame in failability
3. if its you fault, man up and take the blame, Apologize at once and do some damage control
4. if something's beyond you control, why worry about it
5. if anything can go wrong it will, says murphy and if it does be sure your ready to back it up.
6. if you can do something well, somebody can do it better. Feed your competetive fire.
7. if you think you need one for the road you dont.
8. if in doubt ask a woman(for men) youve got at least one to start, your mom.
9. If you can do something today do something today.
10. If you think you need help, you do, we all do.
11. if it rains , it pours and its sunny soon after.
12. if you fall hard, bounce back harder and swing back at the one who put you hardest.
13. If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. Cool off a bit. and get back soon after. Great things are accomplished by cooler heads in the midst of battle.
We should all know that life's decisions shouldn't be decided by the coin toss.

I'd like to point out that your 'list' isn't constant for everyone. Some people may never have to experience some of what you mention, or even suffer circumstance that makes your answers not the best.
In the end, life is all up to the person. It's too bad that parents just don't recognize this...
