I am not from a rich family. After I entered unversity, I decided to support myself by working part time. I did find several jobs such as housing teaching and selling products in the campus. I feeled very happy to do the jobs. Firstly because I did earn some money for my daily expenses, lightening the burden for my parents. And secondly, I developed my abilities and personalities while communicating with different people. I cherish these experiences. What about you? Do you work part-time during your university life and for what reason you decide to work? Are there enough job opportunities offering to university students in your area? What type of jobs did you take? And what's your feeling about it? Thank you for your response. Best wishes, Kathy

Hi Kathy. I'm attending a university too. I also find myself short of money sometimes but unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a job. I think there they is a lot to be learned while having a job so it could be good for students.

I work part time as well when I was in university. It is a good experience in personality development and earn money as well.Through being a waiter in a restaurant,I was able to develope my interpersonal skills.Because I had to communicate with my employer and I had to learn how to deal with the customers.Although I didn't see the benefit at that times,it was surely an important experience for my life and I thank God for vthis experience to train me as a more mature person.Have a good day.

Balancing the rigors of university study with the intensity of paid employment can be not only be helpful in paying bills and buying expensive university books, but is also seen by future employers as a persons ability to multi task and time management. I frankly don't have enough time to study and work full time, my degree has over 25 hours a week at university alone, and it is almost impossible to study, attend university and work at the same time. However, I currently have job at KFC for the holidays.
