I Just Heard Allen Iverson Retired.

Its kinda odd hes retiring since he still has some years left in him, but no good team seemed to want to sign him which is a sad way to end his career. I don't blame him for not wanting to play for Memphis with how much effort hes put forth over the years. The Knicks are not even good enough for him to win a title which thought about signing him but than turned him down. I still think theres a chance he might return if he gets a offer from a better team. If he doesn't come back I'll remember as a player with a lot of heart. He was also the shortest player to ever win the MVP at 6ft. I do think he should have been more of a team player but really didn't have much help on the offensive end with the Sixers, but he certainly did when he was traded to the Nuggets. I will also remember him as a player who averaged over 30+ppg in a season shooting 39% from the field. That shows you how much of a ball hog he could be. Does this type of playing style have something to do with teams turning him down? Yes, I would say very much so.

i think it's because of it's back injury? Aw yeah being not 100% would really give an impact to the team...too bad i feel sorry fro him.. =(
