My all time favorite book is Alex Rider Adventure series by Anthony Horowitz. I really like the book bacuse it is adventure, mystery and action. My favorite genre is Mystery. But I really like it when the book is combined with different genre. I really like the book Snakehead(the last book) because it is very adventures. What books do you like and what genre do you like the best?

I enjoy all kinds of genres of books. I enjoy Chick Lit, and I absolutely love True Crime novels. I will read anything that is recommeded. James Patterson is one of my favorite novels. I have a really difficult time getting into Science Fiction.

I agree with you. I dont know why people like star wars. I really like the movie but the book is terrible. I think the book is too lengthy and it is vey complicated and it is hard. It also has many hard words which doesnt make sense. I really like all kind of books but I just cant continue reading science fiction. I really like the begining because it is very exciting but it gets boring because it is very discriptive.

I even took a science fiction class trying to gain some respect for the genre. I did gain some respect and knowledge of it, but it just proved that it's not for me.

I don't know the Alex Rider Adventure series, but I have read other books by Anthony Horowitz, and I have liked many of them, so maybe I should have a look at the books you mentioned I like to read many different kinds of books. I enjoy mystery and horror stories, and for many years horror was my favourite genre, but now I also like to read many other kinds of books for instanse historical novels, books that are based on a real stories and biographies.

My favorite genre is mystery. But the books I read are kind of part mystery, part thriller, and even sometimes part humorous. My favorite authors are Janet Evanovich and Sue Grafton followed by James Patterson. I love Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series because there is always a good mystery, some good thrills and it makes me laugh too. Sue Grafton is not quite as funny but the mysteries always get thrilling and I like the lead character both of these are series books. As for James Patterson I love his thrilling style and very human characters. I also like it when Nora Roberts writes as J.D. Robb. Those books are pretty exciting too. Usually after a good mystery though I will read a little Chick Lit. before diving in to another thriller.

Hi. I like reading legal or religion related fictions written by John Grisham and Paulo Coelho, respectively. I also like reading Sherlock Holmes detective stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Currently, I am also reading business and management related books because I am opening a new business.
I have not yet tried reading mystery books. Maybe I should try this book genre in my next readings.
