Have you ever done something or said something...and realized days later that you've finally crossed that line...you've stepped into your mother's shoes. Everyone has that fear when they are young, about turning into their parent's or marrying someone like their parent. But the circle of life is reality. Whether you like it or not it seems, fate has a way of reality-checking you. Anyone agree or disagree? Why?

Hi,wallacb.A good topic.I thoought my mother was too strict with me about my personal life, such as making friends and coming home late at night. And I promise I will not a mother like her, however, after i became a mother, I realize I will be the same one.
We just can't understand why our parents act like that until oneday we really experience. You can't leave your children do anything they like, bacause you know they are too young to tell the right and wrong thing every time.

It's wierd to think that 24 years ago today, my mother was in my spot, and I in my son's. Children grow up watching their parents and wondering what the future will hold from them. But can never truly imagine what it will be like. I guess even imagination has its limits.

When mother became a mother when she was 24 years old, she could do everything, cooking, washing and sewing. However, she couldn't do that when she was a young lady.
Now, i am 20 years old, and i am a student in university. Like most students, i can't do the cooking and some household. My mom told me that, when i become a mother, i can do everything.
It is so marvelous, circle of life.
