What is your opinion on a great movie?

I have watched all the Lord of the Rings movie and I think they are all great movies.Great movie is subjective and it is hard to have a definition for this.To me maybe a great movie but for others it may not be.Movie can earn lots of money may not be a great movie at all.Because it maybe it is only suitable for many people and for sure,promotion do a lot for the success of that particular movie.Winning an Oscar award? So What?To some,it maybe a boring movie as well.So what is your opinion on a good movie?It is your turn to express your great opinion to the public and of coouse....to me now^_^.

for me,a good movie should give me the feeling of heartquake.And i think for those which only can offer us a visusl-impact can't stay long in our hearts.the first time when we see them,we feel that's good but always we wouldn't be their returning customer.for the real good movies,no matter how many times you have seen them,you would still have the desire to see them again.good movies are time-tested.

Gotta agree with you on this, it is subjective. In many cases, people living in the same household rarely enjoy the same magazines or books, movies or TV programs.
I guess your choices says a lot about who you are, and how you view things. Fortunately, we have so many options...we don't have to settle on any one type of program or movie. Our options these days...are almost limitless...8o)
