hello my lotter family.i havnt been on here in a long time,but i have an important question and was hoping you can help.this question is for mothers out there,i was wondering if a women 38 years old who has normal menstrual cycles all the time and suddenly has a period for only 4 hours when she is due to have her period....could she be pregnant?

Yup she could be, well im 25 (21 when i got pregnant) and i had that with my second child! I had a very short period but we had been trying for a baby and 10 days after i had that small bleed i took a test and got a positive.

Probably not, but pregnancy tests are easy to get and very accurate. If you think you might be, you should take a test.

Hi. I am not really sure about that. It could be pregnancy and a home pregnancy test should verify that. Some women go into menopause earlier than others too. I would suggest the pregnancy test first but you need to get one that can detect pregnancy 24 hours after the fact. Some tests only work after a week or two of a missed period. Blood test are accurate though.
