how to add donate button

Hi everyone. I do surf some sites and blogs and I notice in their page, they have a button called donate. Where can I find that button? I plan to put this button in my blog. Someone who have this info, do let me know and do guide me too.

It depends on the nature of the blog. Are you trying to promote an online business through your blog? If so, you can generally find codes for such if you go through paypal. The best place to start would check your paypal account options if you're planning to link your blog through them. The "donate button's I've seen are directly linked to a person's paypal account or other found-reciving and holding site. They generally aren't designed for personal use.

My idea is basically to get people donate to my blog if they find my content nice. any tips for that?

First off, I would suggest putting yourself out there. Make your blog presentable and link it to any and all social networks that you're a part of. Drawing attention to the blog will get it noticed. Submit it to places that will help put it out there. Once you've done that and your hits have incressed, then search for the "donate" code.
However for such a button to appear you'll need to know the basics of your blog's structure because to use those buttons they require you to have the abbility to coppy and paste raw HTML into your blog. The blog itself has a space where this can be accomplished. Be sure to fallow the instructions carefully or the code won't appear or appear improperly.

What you are referring to is probably the PayPal donate button. Go to this PayPal page and it tells you how to make one. It will allow donations to your PP account.
