PTC sites-are they worth it?

There are many PTC sites on the web. I have many issues with them. 1) Half of them are not legit. They either dont pay eventually or close down after some time. 2) Yes! there are legit sites. Lets see them. There are those that pay $0.01 per click. There are those that pay $0.001 per click. then there are those that pay $0.0001 per click. Of course you have variations from $0.008 - $0.005 in between. Minimum payout ranges from $1-$10. Minimum time before payment reaches ur paypal account ranges from 1 month to half a year. 3) There are folks with strategies based on the multiple small income streams will add up to alot principle. So they join like a 100 sites hoping to cash out with at least $100 at the end of the year for the TENS of THOUSANDS of ads they have viewed. Ok, $100 is alot of money but think of the time you put in not to mention internet service charges and electricity bill usually nets it to about $0-give or take. I think our maid earns more then that. Dear mylotters, please dont post your referral links here hoping id join under you. Yes, I know, referrals do increase your payouts but refer to point number 3. Im just not into this paid to stuff anymore. Just curious to know what others think. mylot is different for me cos I enjoy taking part in forums and this forum pays you to do so. So that is an incentive. So my motives are different. If Im in mylot for the money, I dont think Id have the motivation to stay for longer then 5 days. So what do you think? Are PTCs worth the time and effort?
