Today is Thanksgiving Day,please sit down and think about that who you should say thanks to.Just a little time and don't be miserly!

hi,Do youhave the THANKS GIVING CUSTOM IN YOUR COUNTRY,I DON'T THINK SO..This the back ground of that day-- Thanksgiving Day celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November, has been an annual tradition in the United States since 1863.
The First Thanksgiving was celebrated to give thanks to God for helping the pilgrims survive the brutal winter. The first Thanksgiving feast lasted three days providing enough food for 53 pilgrims and 90 Indians. The feast consisted of fowl, venison, fish, lobster, clams, berries, fruit, pumpkin, and squash. However, the traditional Thanksgiving menu often features turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie.

hello,you are right!In my country we don't celebrate the festival,and i know it just from my english class.Thank you.
But,"Thanksgiving Day"is called "Gan en jie" in Chinese,meaning "Being grateful for something or somebody ".So we not only just thanks the great God and harvest,but also some beauty ,some memorable people and things.Because of the development of the culture's globalizing,more and more young people in my country know some foreign customs ,especially from America.We can't understand the primary meaning of those customs fully,so we celebrate them just according ourselives' understanding and as ourselives' styles.But our feeling and blessing are real and serious.

I'm from Indonesia. And there's no tradition of Thanksgiving Day in my country. But you're right. We should take time to give thanks to everyone that helps us in our life. If i have to say thanks, in the first row, I'll thank my parents. They've took care for me all my life. And then I'll say thanks to my lover for his love for me until now. Then I would like to thank my friends for all great time together.
