I think school life was better, due to its innocence and beauty. I was in a boarding school and the main exit gate of school was 3 kilometers away from our hostels, so it was a great pleasure, when we got a chance to peep outside the gate, however it was not very often. We loved samosass, fruits and every street food being sold outside and hated healthy food given by school mess. In fact we bribed school staffs for fetching these food items from outside. Today I cook for myself and the family but still miss that joy of celebration for eating something, which was not allowed.

Somehow most would say college or further education when all the parties are running of and you enjoy youself at the very same time you need to try focus on your studies... I would say my best life was in school, during the coprehensive, so little to worry about and far less homework giving you alot extra time for living your life. Even though you might be to young to realise it during that stage.

Hi Srija,Actually this depends on the nature of the person. There are two types of people those who think that college life is better than school life and those who think that school life is better than college life.I will explain here both types of people with some reasons. Some people like college life more than school life because they think in college life they feel more independent, they can leave lectures if they are not interested,no one can punish them,no one can force them to attend classes,no teacher can compel them to study etc.I personally feel it is good due to some reasons.I have seen in my student life(still a student) as you can't compel anyone to study and even you can't do it by force. It is necessary to understand something that you take interest in that.In college life independence is good to some extent. But it is the duty of parents to look after their children.Parents show interest in studies of children when they study in school but when they enter in college life they think that now their children are mature enough that they do not need their advices.Parents should think that as child has entered into a new life,he doesn't know how to tackle with this type of independence. Before this,in school life child was under some restrictions but now in college life he is very much independent so he can misuse this. Some people like school life more than college life.Reason is that in school life they are unaware of life politics, they were not responsible to work somewhere and earn money, there are many people to teach them good things, there were some restrictions, but due to those restrictions they worked hard and now at good post. I personally don't agree that college life is better than school life . Its up to a person, how does he feel in both circumstances and how he change himself according to different circumstances.

There are a lot of factors that could influence one's social life while in school. What type of personality does the student have? Are they someone who enjoys being involved with school, taking on a lot of extracurricular activities? Do they consider themselves popular or a socialite? Are they the type that would rather spend an afternoon studying hard for the final that is two months away...I think it depends on the type of program or university you are at, if you are in college, and whether you are in public or private school if you are in a younger level. Do you live near the school or on campus, or are you at home with your family? Do you commute to school? During my college career, I was fortunate to attend several different schools. While this was difficult, I considered myself lucky. Not only did I learn what I liked and disliked about school, I was able to experience different types of campuses. In high school a person has more restrictions, but is given more guidance. In college, the extra freedom comes with a price. You are considered completely independant, and are entirely responsible for your own actions. You have the freedom to go out at night and party ....but don't expect your professor to accept an excuse for the term paper due in the morning. Depending on the nature of the course, you may even miss several lectures without recourse. I don't think either would be entirely fearless. High school students are plagued with the thought of getting into college...college students have nightmares of getting careers. Each is just another step to a new pond. There are always bigger fish and there are always sharks.

Well, college IS a type of school, so I think what your trying to ask (and correct me if I'm wrong)) is this: What grade in school did you like the best? Which grade was the funnest? maybe? Me, I miss High School (grades 9-12) because I had so many good friends to get me through it and I have so many fond memories. The classes were also more interesting.
