hi mylot friends, first of all i do not know the basics of computers,internet,browsing,domain,site,blog,settings,format etc etc,now i cam across about domain and site,what is the different between the site and domain,i can find out the answers from google search,but i have some online answers to my questions from mylot friends.

Domain (or DNS) is the name of the site. It's what you see on the address bar. And site is what's on the domain. To make it simple, you have a house address right?That address is the domain, and your house is the site.

A domain name is the name that is most present in a site. It is useally the host name of the server. A server, is a hub where various pages are kept. A site, is a collection of pages that are attached to a domain. For example, mylot is a website. Mylot being the domain name.
