Well, I would never choose to be a celebrity. If I had a chance, I would refuse. I don't want to choose to be someone famous. I did read your entire discussion, and some of the responses, but I DON'T WANT TO BE A CELEBRITY.
Some people just don't want to be someone famous like that.
I have many reasons why I wouldn't want to be reborn as one. First of all, being famous and having all that money is not such a good thing in itself. There are some people who do end up having a lot of fame and enjoy it, but I'm not one of those people who would want it.
Second, I like my own life the way it is. If I could choose to be reborn I would choose to be reborn as myself - that way I might fix some of my mistakes I made in life. Being someone else is just not something that would appeal to me. It's their life, not mine; I'll let them live their life while I live my own. I like to feel unique, after all.
Third, and the most important one of all - if I were a celebrity I would not able to be on myLot! MyLot is one of the most important things in my life and if I suddenly became famous I would not have time to spend on this website.
I'm sorry, but your discussion is not broad enough for many other people. Your choice of words seem to suggest that everyone would love being a celebrity and this isn't true. . . Some people just wouldn't want to do this, and you don't seem to leave any space for arguing

I don't want to change the fact that millions of people want to be celebrities. I simply disagree. The whole point is that this is my opinion; not everyone wants to be a celebrity. They are not gods; they are just humans, like us. In the end I think they live more meaningless lives. Sure, they can entertain us, but other less famous people work to do more important things. I'm not saying their life is terrible, I'm saying that they have their place in society while I want to have my own. They can be as rich as they want but I can honestly say that it wouldn't make me happy.
I believe with a passion that money shouldn't matter, that I don't care about the fame, and in the future I do hope that no one would care about this. It's not all about being rich, I want to do something meaningful instead of whatever celebrities do. I want to contribute something to society.
I just answered your question, if I had the chance I would refuse. If I was forced to be reborn as a celebrity, I would probably cry. I don't want to live that meaningless life of a celebrity. . .
Just my opinion, of course, the millions of people can believe what they want

hmmm so maybe the people who posted here are not intrested but believe me in my neighbourhood every other person wants to be a celeb.just bcoz u and few others dont like that image doesnt rule out the fact that there are million others who'd do anything to get rich and famous.and hey you sound sound like as if celeb's cry day in day out.so everybody have their up's and down and they are no different.

Hi moondoll
If I had a chance to be born as a celebrity, I want to be in mother Teresa's shoes. i like her for her simplicity, kindness, selfless service, not expecting any reward in return for her sacred service. She is a respected and honoured person in the society and liked by all. On the whole she is a divine and sacred person. She is my role model. so I have selected that celebrity.
