how many pillows do you use to eat what is your favorite icecream and do you

so many complaints about quality of discussions thought I would liven up things. How many pillows do you need when you eat that favorite flavor of ice cream which is? and do you sleep in a bed,on the floor, or standing up with the pillow and the ice cream. What is all of your consensus on this nonsensical discussion on thanksgiving day afternoon?and if you get your
feelings hurt do you cry or yell or what, and why do you do
that?

I don't think I have ever eaten ice-cream when I was asleep...
but as I was asleep I wouldn't really know would I ?

Now you have got me thinking!
If I eat ice-cream while I am sleeping and therefore do not know about it,
will it still cause me to put on weight?

oh myyes You do have a point there.unless you found some
sticky stains like chocolate on your bed or maybe
on your face? I once woke up and found myself standing in
front of my bed, hanging onto my bookcase with a book in one hand. I think I must have sleep walked and I had never'done that before or since as a matter of fact.

Hi, Hatley! Happy Thanksgiving! I don't use pillows when I eat ice cream. I just eat it sitting down on my soft bed. And, I may eat it at my kitchen table. This day is going well for me. I enjoy this entire day. I have no need to yell or cry.. Everything is all good! And I hope that your day goes well too! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Hi Hatley!
Firstly, when I read your post, I got flummoxed when I saw the title. I read it twice to understand it ……..lol! When I read the entire post, then only it landed in my mind, what you intend to say and it made me smile. Very remarkable observation by you. You are on the dot that there are some posts on trivial matters and these posts do not sound good for a serious discussion. The number of mylotters increasing day by day and each one wants to start a new discussion; therefore, these kinds of lighter discussions are bound to surface. I would say let it remain as it is and we may leave it to the personal choice of an individual, whether someone wants to respond about eating ice-cream with a scoop or with a cone or cup or with pillows………lol! I personally believe in responding some serious and interesting discussions, however, when I am pressed for time, I respond to lighter discussions, specially, when it has been started by one of the dear friends here.

You see if some inconsequential and meaningless discussions are not there and all are serious ones, it would be difficult to make comparison, therefore, discussions on trivial matters are also required.

hi dpk Yes I expected people to be taken aback but it did
point out some are really quite silly yet I would not say
we should have any restrictions as the very freeness of
mylot is what makes it so great.as long as we abide by
the rules we can make any discussion we want. I too
have been guilty towards the end of the month of responding
to some really light discussions.

Hi Hatley,
I think you echo the feelings of many a Mylot member with this discussion. It seems for the last few days we have been flooded with nonsense and spam to a degree. I think a lot of people who started non discussions will have their feelings hurt But then I would not worry about it, Thanks for lightening the mood, I now believe there is still life out there on MyLot

hi thezone well yes I guess I may have hurt a few but they
make so many of the same things and it gets downright silly.
I mean where else would I sleep, standing up? I am alone here
in my room on Thanksgiving afternoon so needed to cheer myself
up and also point out the inane stuff that keeps coming up.
if I made a few laugh that is what I wanted to do.

Hello Hatley. I'm trying to give pillows up, as I had a dream last night that I was eating a giant white marshmallow. When I woke up this morning, the pillow had gone and I had a mouth full of feathers.
Seriously, though - and who can possibly be serious in this discussion - I like like pillow flavoured ice cream with a rum and raisin sauce, and I eat it with one leg in the sink and the other on top of the freezer. I like to exercise as I eat ice cream, to counteract the fattening effects.
I sleep in a large, empty ice cream container, without pillows for reasons I explained earlier. I don't sleep much these days, though, because of all the hurt feelings that make me cry and yell, and indigestion from eating pillows and ice cream, to say nothing of the slipped disc I suffered sticking one leg in the sink and the other on top of the freezer. I need help - probably psychiatric help after this! Great discussion, Hatley. Thanks for brightening our day.

disc doesnt cost you too much in medical bills.it makes my hip
hurt thinking about you with oneleg in the sink and the other ontop the freezer. Yes eating your pillow could really cause you
indigestion. Yep we both probably need psychiatric after this wacky discussion. he he.

My chocolate deprivation is self-inflicted since that evil machine in the bathroom flashed big numbers at me just because I stood on it! How mean is that! I will save your generous gift until Christmas when I will share it round. I haven't actually cried real tears...well, not many and they weren't chocolate related... imagine that... if we cried chocolate buttons....

Hi Hatley! It's funny that you should bring up this discussion. Just the other day I overheard some one complaining that I shouldn't have to use 3 or 4 pillows every time I eat ice cream. Of all the nerve! Just between you and I, and I really don't want any one else to know...those aren't pillows.

Hatley my dear, this really is too much, as I don't like to repeat myself I have to choose a different ice cream flavour every time as my favourite and am now reduced to only answering what is the worst ice cream flavour discussions. I did research current ice cream discussions last week and answered many to get a feel for the skill required to post one but alack no one responded to me, which only leads me to believe they weren't really interested in my preference for cheese on my ice cream dunked in coffee. I haven't seen an ice cream and pillow discussion before Hatley so this won't be deleted as is is original but do expect to find 3 identical ones tomorrow as the new nonsensical discussion of the week.

all the pillows. talking ones, ice cream smeared ones, ones
that talk according to one mylotter.I got so sad yesterday '

I don't usually eat my ice cream when I am sitting on a pillow. I like to eat the ice cream in a bowl. Most of the time I am sitting at the kitchen table with a chair. But I do sometimes have the ice cream while I am sitting on the sofa watching t.v.

I sleep most of the time sideways, with four pillows on my bed. ICE CREAM? Naw, that's bad at night. I try not to eat ice cream before I sleep because it has a lot of sugar and it will probably keep me up later than usual. But my all-time favorite ice cream is cookies and cream(: . I like mostly all types of ice cream though.

Congratulations Hatley. You've managed to create some hilarity here with a nonsensical discussion.
Now, I need a lot of pillows to sleep because I must sleep with my feet above my heart - well, not above, but higher than. I also use a pillow to raise my legs when sitting on a chair - which is something I rarely do, other than my office chair. As far as eating ice cream goes, you are taxing my memory, since I don't eat much ice cream.
One thing I can answer with confidence is that I do not normally stand up to sleep, nor do I eat my ice cream with a pillow - I use a spoon, or maybe just my mouth, since mostly my ice creams are on a stick, and I use my fingers to hold the stick, not the pillow.
When my feelings are hurt? Are you suggesting I have feelings? OK, I probably run away and hide.

Oh very good discussion here mate...giggles. I have a newish friend who is churning out discussions by the dozen. They are basically 3 or 4 line question and answer things about her life and she rarely, if ever comments on responses. I just want to scream at her and tell her "these are not discussions you moron" and "have the decency to reply when people respond to you".
She is getting around a dozen responses average but she is still earning heaps and not playing the game right...there is nothing to discuss. The responses are more like a yes/no answer or saying how sorry they are for her.
If I get my feelings hurt I am usually embarrassed as well so I walk away trying to appear calm.
We do not celebrate Thanksviving.
