It is common this time of year to get alittle depressed as much by lifestyle as by lack of sunshine. It is normal. When you do have these eating spells try to be sure that you eat healthily. Sometimes eating in excess is sometimes caused by psychological problems. And try to stay away from the crisps.

I sure wish I could not be hungry. Seditary and still want to eat. I hate it! This time of year is the pits for me.

I haven't experience eating nothig all day. I need to eat to have energy for me to be productive in a day and I avoid being to be sick because it is too expensive to spend for medicine when you are ill just to recover. It is still good to be healthy and be at your 100% best performance everyday. I experienced to sleep for 12 hours without eating and the result was a pain in my tummy when I was already eating.I don't want to feel that severe pain so I never do it again.

I do try to eat,as i have to stay well for the childrens sake,as well as i need the enery to try to keep up with the children as well as everything else.I think that if i was more mobile then perhaps i would want to eat.If i try to eat when i am not hungry then it makes me feel very ill.

I have days when I crave a lot.my cravings practically change every hour.there are days when I just don't feel like eating anything.no food can tempt me.I guess it has to do with my moods.sometimes,it happens when I am nearing my period.I am practically like Pac Man who eats everything in his way.then after my period I feel to lazy to eat.

Hi Jugs. Sounds like your coming down with something to me. No I eat the same everyday. We have breakfast then in the evening we have a small meal. We try to stay on a good balanced diet. We are pretty active and it don't take much to fill us up.

I have these days...for me, it normally happens in the summer as it's too hot to eat so I tend not to eat as much until it cools down of a night...the only other time this happens for me is when I'm not feeling 100% then I tend not to eat.

Hi JJ,
My diet is a lot to be called for as I don't eat hardly anything perhaps once a week and now a very good friend has put me on a meal plan so I have to write down everything I have for breakfast lunch and dinner which I do but am honest and always put don wether or not I have eaten or if I have just snacked...but being honest I think you should eat little and often as and when your body tells you too not at a certain time...LoLo

That has happened to me. Usually when I eat a lot for the whole day the next day Im not very hungry. I think I can store three days worth of food in my stomach. Then in those three days I can survive without eating anything. My appetite does vary but even when Im not feeling hungry, I have to eat something else my parents will let me have an earful how Im not taking good care of my body or something.

I have given up smoking and i have found that i can now at last taste the food i eat properly aswell as i like to eat food now where as i used to dread dinner times and i would usually want a cup of coffee and a smoke rather than eating. The only worry i have now is that i may put on loads of weight as this can happen when giving up smoking.

I do experience it when i am so engrossed in doing other activities that i do not like to be interrupted and that resulted in me neglecting even to eat or their is a tendency for me to eat but a far delayed form the exact time of eating. Now i never neglect my eating at the right time as forgetting could only makes you feel tired and slow. I need food as energy and so t is important not to neglect it.

I think that if you are doing something then like you say it then takes your mind off having food as well as you think to yourself that when you have finished what ever you are doing then you will get something to eat only to find out the feeling of wanting something to eat has then gone away.

I have those days too, where some days I feel like eating a lot and other days I don't eat at all. I'm usually not sick, it's just that I'm not hungry. Like I have all the energy I need for the day without eating. I hope you aren't sick either!

yes there are many times when the situation is like i don't want to eat nothing at all and my mother then get worried that why i am not eating because liver problems are common now a days , it always happens in summer as due to heat one is not intrested in eating and in winter i one is always intrested in eating again and again because in winters body need warm and food provides us , that's why we eat a lot in winters and less in summers.but proper diet should be followed by all.

I find that no matter how hard you try to eat it makes you feel soo ill just the trying to eat and that is without the stomach ache that you get after you have eaten as well.I think that little and often is alot better or another thing is something is better than nothing. If i am not hungry then i will always make sure that i have had a drink with sugar in so that i do not faint like i have done in the past.

Hi there jugsjugs!
There are times when I feel like eating a lot. And I mean A LOT! Sometimes, I get these funny and weird cravings. But there are also times when I do not feel like eating at all. Perhaps, my appetite at times can really get weird.

Well i think we all have days when our appetite is less than ideal, and we'll compensate for the lack of it by eating less. Now when you say that you're eating anything for 2 days, does that mean no food? I hope you're not saying that because you realize how unhealthy that is? So, I'm going to pretend that you didn't just say that. If you've been overindulging on junk food or what not, eat healthier like more veggies, protein, fruit, some grains, but you should never cut out eating, it really does wreck havoc with your metabolism and isn't good for you. I've had days before where if I really indulged lets say, by having a larger piece of cake one day. Well, then the next day I'll drinks tons of water to flush it out, and eat lots of healthy food like veggies, protein and fruit. I'll usually feel better by the next day. Oh and also exercise it the best for flushing out toxins so it's always good to get sweat in if you've been overindulging. Well I hope you're not coming down with anything, esp not that awful H1N1 thing. If you're run down try to get extra sleep, rest, and eat hot soups then and maybe you'll be able to fight it.

I have days that I eat more than I do some days. Unless I am sick I do not have any day though that I do not eat at all. I get a headache if I do not eat something so I have to at least eat something.

Hi JJ,
do you have eating problem? it seems like you do. Pardon me for concluding. So what's your normal meal? are you in a diet program? or you just follow your cravings and when you don't feel like eating--that's it? Please take care of yourself and seriously watch your diet.

For a couple of years I was like that, one meal every couple of days was enough. I must have a very slow metabolism. I knew it had gotten ridiculous when I went to my sister's, caught them at dinner, she offered me some but just smelling it (delicious!) was enough and made me feel full! (I'm not skinny, I just don't need much food.)
