Of course, I will still be her friend. Real friends stay no matter what and I'm a real friend. If I found out she have AIDS, then that's a reason why I should stay more by her side.

Why abandon a friend that is ill with AIDS? I would help him or her. The thing is that I wouldn't get further then friendship but.

Of course there would. I would never turn my back on a friend because they have a disease. I would not sleep with them, but I would certainly be just as good a friend as ever to them. That would not make any difference to me what so ever. I would worry about them more, but I would always be their good friend.

Yes for me there could still be a friendship for I would know how, what and when I could contract this from them. I have a step uncle that actually has aids and has for numerous years now. Yes many people look at him different when they find out he has it but for most it does not matter for he is such a great person. Currently I have a friend that has contracted Hepatitis C and everyone does not like to be around her but I treat her the same for I have knowledge of the what, whens and how to's that come with Hep C. To me she was my friend before and nothing has changed just that she has something and needs all the help she can get but most of all needs friendship and support. Just because someone contracts something should not matter if you are friends or not the only thing changed would be that they are sick or have a disease like heart trouble. Fear of things has given people the morals and judgment of retarded people. They need to get morals and values back in their life and be a true person no matter what the case maybe. Weather Aids, Hep C, HIV, Herpes or whatever. Do not judge for people will judge you as well. If you like the person why should what a person have change you liking that person? For no man should judge another man only God should judge. So to answer your question yes I could still be friends with someone with aids.

Of course there would be. Having a friend with a sickness doesn't mean you're going to take it too. Also I don't usually share body fluids with my friends, so it's impossible for me to get AIDS from a friend.
I would try to be understanding with that person because it would probably not be easy for him or her.

I would never end a friendship just because the friend got sick. I would be supportive and helpful in their struggle. Ditching them would made it so much harder for them.
