hi everyone!
first off i want to greet everyone at mylot happy thanksgiving!!! i've always belive that there shouldn't be just one day where you thank everyoen in your life for the blessings that you get. let me be clear, where i'm from, we don't usually celebrate thanksgiving but after what i went through these past few months, i figured why not have a thanksgiving meal that i can share with my family and loved ones.
so this year, for our thanksgiving meal we are having barbecued babyback ribs, barbecued chicken, mashed potatoes with lots of gravy, and some tossed salad. just want to know what everyone else is having? oh and by the way, just want to tell everyone that you should never let a day pass without telling your loved ones and family how much you love them and how much thankful you are that they came into your life.
cheers!!!

Good thoughts for everyone. Thank you. I so agree. This is the time of year and what Thanksgiving is all about. Remembering the good times and the bad. Revamp the scrapbooks and tell stories of grandparents and great grandparents. Family strength is one thing that makes this country grand. We stand tall because we have that to keep us strong.

hi allen thanks and that was a g reat idea its wonderful to
remember to give thanks every day for all we have and not
to complain for the bad things life throws our way. we all
have friends and loved ones to be grateful for and we should
do this every day. we celebrated here at Gold Crest yesterday'with Turkey and stuffing.cranberries , pumpkin pie and like you lots of mashed potatoes and gravy too. today most of the staff is off so they can celebrate with their families. as a note of interest my table mate is a filipino lady by the name of Perla ,very sweet very friendly lady with whom I have become good friends.

I agree! It is very important to tell our loved ones how special they are and how thankful we are for them. Life can change so fast and you never want to regret not saying 'i love you' or 'i care about you' to someone.
We actually served Thanksgiving meal at our church today, so I had turkey, mashed potatoes, and a roll. There was other traditional Thanksgiving food there (stuffing, pumpkin pie, etc), but I also had a birthday cake to eat! It was a great meal!

hi torrs13!
very true that we should never pass up a chance to tell loved ones how important they are to us and how we truly love them. it's great that you served your thanksgiving at your church. that seems like the traditional thankgiving fare, turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. the birthday cake is a surprising one. if it is your birthday, happy birthday and have a good one!
cheers!!!
