hi bulastika! another filipino poker player here. not really into video poker, whether with live dealers or video dealers, the idea is just too shady for me. i'd rather play in the numerous poker clubs around the metro. normal table buy-in usually starts at Php500 so your $30 will be quite a big bankroll. i think money management is the key here. been looking to join some of the local poker tourneys but haven't really seen a tourney that i like. most of the players are big spenders and high-rollers. glad to know about the freeroll at pokerstar. i'll check it out and see if it suits me. good luck on your game! cheers!!!

I only play in Facebook. There you can play poker with others, all around the world, in real time. It is free mind you. But you can win or lose chips like in a regular game. I think you can sell your chips, though it is illegal in Facebook.

ME! i play poker on party poker and it is such a better interface that full tilt. i love the party poker system... however i just cant find a poker site that awards its players real money for playing with play money,do you get what i am saying? Do you know of a site that rewards its players with real cash just for playing with play chips?

I've been playing online for months now, I started at Zynga - the one in Facebook (LOL), brought my game to the (real) tables, then started playing in PokerStars, PartyPoker and Full Tilt. During my first time to play at stars I asked my friend to wire me $42 but all that went to waste since I wasn't aware that online and real game play were different. Anyway, I stopped playing online and played live tournaments instead. After a few months I'm back to online again. LOL. I didn't wire any money anymore, but instead got my bankroll from winning various freerolls. That was crazy! It took so much time but from that 1 dollar winning I got for landing 15th out of 10,000 players it became bigger and reached $20. Not much if you think about it but it was really difficult to increase my bank roll! You've posted this discussion 4 months ago, may I ask how your bankroll in Stars is? What do you usually play? SitNGoes, Ring Games or Tournaments?

I play poker online but only freerolls, i dont have the balls to play real money...lol I play at NPP, its free! no creditcards, no deposits...ive already earned 60 dollars in total without spending a single penny cause its freeroll.
