Hi,
Today morning i have received one text message from the network service. It states "My cell phone number is selected for one million pounds in the coca-cola award draw 2009". They have specified me one mail address to contact them. What can i do. Is it true.

hi there! That's a bit strange. Have you like joined in that program? like raffle draws? or alike? If not, then it must be something "fishy" and Coke is a big company. I have not heard any promotion like that, "giving out some emails to contact them?". It is always the other way around, they will contact you by calling you on your landline or phone, or they will publish your name on media, presenting that you won. That is if you have joined any of their promotion. But if you want to really now, you may contact their customer service center.

ooppss.. haha.. I meant, "if you really want to know" and oh, have they mentioned your real name? I doubt if they are really from coke or they are legit!
Happy Lotting!

I think it's just a scam.. All they want is something you can give them (e.g. money, email account linked to paypal, cellphone load), but if you remember that you joined any of their promos maybe that's true.. on the other hand, if you don't just don't entertain them.

They are trying to get something from you such as money or your ID. Do not give them anything. If you notice they did not let you know that they do not know your name but they mass send these messages to as many people as they can. If they get one sucker to respond out of one thousand then they are making money.
