service awards

I have been working in my company for six years now.
Yesterday, I have been awarded by the company, a plaque of recognition, for services rendered for five years. Well, I have been with the other 5-year awardees, and the much fulfilled 10-year, 15-year and 20-year awardees, for that matter.
This has been the longest I have worked in a company. I just hope I can, too, be awarded for 10, 15, 20 and more years in this company.
Do you have a service awards ceremony in your company? How long have you been in that company?

Just a small amount. 5 thousand.
That goes with the 10-year awardees (10 thousand), 15 year awardees (15 thousand), and for 20-year awardess (20 thousand).

That's true Ysabel.
Most of the companies here in the Philippines don't have service awards for their loyal employees. I think you're right.
It is lucky for us to have this tradition inside the company.

I am doing my own business but I can understand the happiness of you receiving such an award. In fact, all companies want to boost their workers and gift them with some awards like this and promote their feelings. But here in our country, only 25 years of service is celebrated well.

That's a long year to wait don't you think so? How about those that will be resigning below their 25 years in your company?
In our company, there is a tradition that we keep in service awards. A minimum five years in service is recognized by the company. A 5-year awardee will be getting a cash prize and a plaque, 10-year awardees will be getting a much bigger cash prize, a plaque and, I think a necklace, 15-years will be getting cash prize, a plaque and a ring. I don't remember for those 20-year awardess, but that's the progression more or less.
