I have, but not for a long time. People will offer things at great prices then charge an outrageous amount for shipping, I refuse to buy from them. I have had good experiences on eBay but there are so many scams now that I haven't been there for quite some time.

If stuff is overpriced or the shipping cost too much I don't bother with that seller.

I've made many purchases through ebay. It's very convenient and I've never had any trouble. Almost all sellers accept payments through paypal so it is also very safe and the shipping is usually fast too (international items takes a little longer). So if you're buying something online, I'll definitely recommend ebay.

Hi, smilyn. No, I have never bought anything from ebay at all. I would like to go there so that I can buy from a seller. I just want to make sure that I am getting a good bargained. I don't want to be ripped off. I know that there are some honest sellers. I just want to run into them.

hi smilyn!
yup, i bought a lot of stuff on ebay already. mostly audio cds, books, and shirts. shopping at ebay can be lots of fun except when others try to outbid you and you end up paying more for your ourchases than what you originally wanted to. its' all good though. i think some of the thrill includes getting the stuff you want to buy at a good price and outbidding others. there are trolls ther though who have no intention of buying the product but simply want to drive the price up. anyway, there were a lot of changes with ebay already, some of these changes clearly favoring the site and not its users. its a great place to check some of the other stuff that you wouldn't see in other sites but always be cautious when buying stuff there as there are ebayers who clearly want to just part you with your hard earned cash.
just my two cents.
cheers!!!

I have bid and bought from ebay and no problem. If there is, you are protected if you paid by paypal ( 45 days ) to escalate and get your money back. Of course it has to be goods not delivered or not as described and not because you have a changed of mind. But if you really did change your mind, contact the seller and if agreeable, the seller can cancel the deal. Happy bidding.

I tend to look for out of print books by my favorite authors on Ebay, but if the shipping rate is too high I don't bother.
I also look for bargain Royal Albert antique china...Very hard to find locally and cost's a fortune at antique stores.Definitely cheaper on ebay if you can find it at a reasonable price...However, shipping can also be expensive if you buy from overseas like the US or UK. So far I have not received any items I've bought on ebay from overseas so I don't know if I have to pay custom fees or not...I shouldn't have to though because the stuff I bought wouldn't be worth over $1000.Ha take take that government taxes!!!
P.S this is from an Australian ebayer

I have bought clothes, shoes, cell phone holder, Memory card and couple of other items. I have had little problems. Those problems I have had have been sorted out. One seller thought I was a non paying bidder even though I had sent them email to request final amount to pay them. Eventually it was all sorted out by a phone call to the seller. The other problem I had, was a payment I had made was overlooked. The seller did find it and shipped the item immediatly. Other than those problems, I have not had other problems.

I do once in a while. I am looking for beads and angel charms and am hoping that after the first of the year I will have some money saved up so I can get back into Jewelry making. I did buy a couple of books once and I did by my bride and groom hats on ebay. I am hoping to make enough jewelry so I can sell it on ebay and hope to make extra money. I do not know of anyone who has sold items on ebay, but some of my relatives have bought items on there.

I have purchased different items from eBay.com. Mainly dolls and clothes.
I have never had any problem as a buyer. I'm a fast payer, and the sellers I've dealt with so far were always quick sending the items and would also communicate with you properly.
If you ever had a problem with any seller in ebay, there's a way to claim your item, and you can file a dispute in paypal too.

Yes, I have gotten tons of stuff there, and I absolutely love the site! I have bought everything from books to clothes, to board games, to bags, beauty products and much more on Ebay, and most of my experiences have been good. You need to check the feedback of the seller you want to buy from before you place a bid, in order to make sure that it's a good seller, but otherwise, you have nothing to worry about really. Make sure you pay with Paypal though, since they give you protection if something goes wrong!
