Hi, silentfall08. I have never heard of this song before. Nor have I ever heard of this group either. I will have to check this group out on Youtube.

A wonderful song indeed, I agree it is probably one of their best. It is talking about taking action, doing something as if it is the first time. It is about every day being a new day, leaving the past behind and living in the now. It also mentions dealing with things. The lyrics 'where can you run to escape from yourself' and 'salvation is here' is talking about accepting forgiveness,love and well, salvation rather than running from your problems. Then with that salvation moving forward as a new creation. Basically the song is about accepting God's salvation.

I really like this song although I haven't memorized the lyrics of it. It's moving and like you said inspirational. I love to listen to it most when I'm alone in a silent and peaceful place. Simply amazing. shadow41

Switchfoot is my fav band ever...!!! The lyric talks about redemption and salvation... Pursuing someone to get new life, and leave the dirty things behind... When u get a new life, the past never happened...
