Do you ever respond to discussions which are not interesting?

You come across several discussions which you might not find interesting. Since many of such discussions are posted by my mylot friends or have no response, I do respond to such discussions.
Do you ever do so coz of these reasons or some other reasons....?

As my motive is to make quality response and my objective is to maximize earning, I have to be very selective. What I mean selective is when I have a good answer to make reply, then I select that posted discussion be my prime subject to make entry. To pay respect to the discussion's poster, I rate [+] as a 'Thank you' for providing a discussion that I am very comfortable to post my reply.
