I was gone from Mylot for several months. Posted a discussion today about making money online. Added one tag. But when I viewed my post, there are additional tags. Worst, the tags are "spam" "more spam" and "spammer".. Can anybody explain it to me, please..Thanks..

Someone even added the word spam to this discussion to by the looks. I hate to say it but someone may be just having fun and trying to make your day today. It is always best to use at the least 5 tag words. That way you don't have to worry about it.

Seems that someone is having a go at you. Here's a tip. There are only five tags visible (and no more) so if you add at least five tags to your posts, no one will be able to add more later on.

Someone probably reported your discussion as it is a violation of the Guidelines and added the 'spam' tag when they did so.
Please be aware that those type of discussions are deleted and earn nothing for you or for those who responded.

Hi. I read the Guidelines and I dont see anything that i violated it. I didn't even post a link coz I know it's against the rules. There were several topics with regards to that site which paid me and they are still in existence. So, I really dont understand Why...Thanks..

Is it?
How about if we talk in generic terms is it against the rules to?
Let say I earn 50 dollars from blogging..
Does it mean that I'm promoting blogging so its against the rule?
Then what we well post in online money and business sections?
If we can't discuss such issue?
I think the rules must be defined thoroughly don't you think?

I'm not familiar with the discussion, and you said that it's now been deleted anyway, but maybe one of the responses was talking about spamming people in order to make money, and so somebody just innocently added the word 'spam' because this was a keyword in the discussion. People add words that are relevant to what is discussed.
Maybe I'm wrong to give them the benefit of the doubt, or just being naive!. But seeing as anyone can add keywords then I guess you'll never know. It's something that's pretty much beyond your control, and many discussions get some crazy keywords added along the way. Best not to worry about it.
