I'm sad to tell you about what is happening in my beloved country, our maguindanao has been under state of calamity, because of the killings of 59 people, most of them are journalist,as on the news it was said that they all have been barbarically killed. I couldn't believed how people could do such a thing just because of political power... now everybody in maguindanao is terrified in about what could happened next... poor people of maguindanao.. I just hope justice will be serve to those who are involved in this crime, but eventhough is has been serve right... it will never bring back the lives of those who has been killed... May God Help their souls..
but what makes me sad is that AGAIN all filipinos will be judge because of one's greed.

What exactly happened? It was a political massacre? Do you have a link to a news report about it?
It sounds horrible!

I just read the article. It says that the Phillipines have a history of violence in their elections.
What kinds of things go on there, politically, that would lead to such an act of horror?
