india can never be australia?

australia is the best team because of thier consistency ,even though the oter countries having good players from thier side they are not performing weell in the matches.thats making advantage to them.

India and Australia are two totally different countries. The climate of India is one and Australia another. Australia has shown their match winning consistency in the past three world cups by making the first hatrick in winning three consecutive world cup finals. That is in 1999,2003 and 2007 three consecutive world cup wins. Not only that, in 1975 and 1996 Australia reached the final and became the runners-up. And in 1987 Australia won the world cup. So Australia is four times world cup winners. SO now you imagine how could any other team be Australia?

IT may be chance .. but I care for team not nation... like you....australia was best team till now.. but Australia now have experiences less and haven't top playes .. while India have so.... so I think until India have this team.. India... always ahead from Australia...

It is not like Team India is not able to play consistent winning cricket, it is the fact that injuries occur most of the times to the players and after that they lose their form and strength. Like in this instance in the series against Australia, India didn't have the services of Zaheer Khan and also Ishant Sharma who is having a drought of wickets recently. Just if players are able to keep themselves fit and safe from injury, I think India will be more consistent enough!!

You have hit the nail on the head.It is not quality that keeps India behind Australia, it is temperament. Whenever we win we tend to get complacent and let the advantage go.Australians have a never say die attitude and they do not give an inch without a fight. This is something we must imbibe in us and we shall be world beaters.

It will take some time to reach at the top of the cricket.But india has very good chance of getting no. one as australian main players are moving out and almost all indian players are youth and in good form. Very soon India will be the no. 1 team and at the top of cricket world.

Hi Lalita, India have always been the better team than Australia (in fact the best - after the end of West Indies domination).. But being consistent means much more than just talent.. Indian team doesn't have that edge of professionalism and dedication that the Australians have.. For instance Indians relax after every win that they lose many series after leading initially (like what happened in the most recent home series against the Aussies where Indians lost from a leading position in the series).. On the other hand.. the hunger for victory and domination never ends for the Aussies.So - true - India can never be Australia
