Why we watch movies?

In war times (WWII) they made movies funny so people could go there and laugh and forget how bad everything sucks.

I watch movies because I like to hear and watch a good story. The good part about movies is that they're fake, it's a story that someone made up, and that requires a lot of hard work. Watching the result of that hard work is rewarding for the team who made it too.

personally, i like watching movies very much. first of all, i regard it as a great idea to kill time by, especially on vacations. sometimes you just feel nothing to do for so long a time. but with several movies we pass by the time so quickly. secondly, even the movie is fake, we could enjoy different kind of life styles or different life journey. one could only have one life. but we could have different experiences from watching movies. thirdly, there are several heroes movies. i suppose everybody has a dream of heroes when he or she was in his or her childhood. fourth, a lot of other interesting facts, such as animation, music, pictures, film stars,,,etc,, in a word, people could not live without movies.

i think taht we wathc movies beacause we like to see people doing strange things, and strange situations, sometimes we would like to be one of the actors, we desire to become like them. Beacause they seem to be better than us and we want to learn from them. I know that they're only movies and i don't change my life or my personality after a movie, sure if i see something beautiful that i like i would like to take or build it. Sometimes movies can be useful, but in other coccasions they can be dangerous, expecially for children, they can learn bad things from movies.

What kind of question is this? seriously. Why eat?, why sleep?, why go to work?, why get an education?, why reproduce?. Its entertainment, if you cant figure this out for yourself then I dont know.. People like to be entertained, and watching films is a way to get that entertainment. Another reason people watch movies is because they enjoy the fact that a movie can take them to a different place, a way to escape reality. Its the same thing with books, only a movie is a visual story. This question is like asking someone why do you exist? we just do, learn to except it and move on.

if you ask me everybody looking for what they dont have in their realy lifes and watching movies to at least feel it thats why some ppl like to watch action and other drama,comedy etc. but of course it is not the case always movies are entertaining there is no mistake:)

I don't think it really has an affect on my life.I do enjoy movies I enjoy the ones like suspense,and also enjoy comedy movies as well.;]

I appreciate your good question. Its matter of joy, you can say it a fake enjoyment by assuming your self into the screen. Lol
