I know stress eating is very common. I'm a horrible stress eater. I lost 50lbs after my youngest daughter was born. I gained it all back a year and a half later when she was diagnosed with autism. I find myself grabbing for food or running to the drive thru anytime I have a bad day with her. It's gotten to the point where I know I'm doing it but I do it anyway. It's like I use my stress as an excuse to eat. I would reallly love some tips from other busy moms, what do you do to help with your stress and prevent yourself from eating everything in sight?

Well I'm not a Mom (yet), but I'll just offer some tips from my Mom. Ok, well I always remember that whenever Mom became stressed out with us, or anything, her tendency was always to under eat and maybe that's how she stayed slim. But she always says if you keep yourself busy, there is no need to keep munching. I know that she's also very organized and is the type of person to prepare foods in advice so that when and if she would get a craving she'd eat healthy. They were things like veggies with dip, healthy soups, etc. I've always been the same way myself, so I see myself continuing on this way when I have kids also.
