how do I get tar off of carpet? I know the answer, I'm just testing you

There are quite a few things to do like Goof off or goo gone. also a tar remover made for cars would worrk also.
the simplest method and it only takes minutes. Spray WD-40, the lubricant with thousands of uses, directly onto the tar. leave it foe about ten or fifteen minutes and wipe off with a clean cloth. You may have to repeat this a few times, but soon your carpet will look the same as it did before the tar was tracked in.
