I have been a teacher of a middle school for more than one year. First, i'm an English teacher of two classes; then, i'm a headteacher of one class. When i was a student, i was afraid of almost all my teachers, in my opinion, they are very strict. And in fact, i even hate some of them. But i'll forever remember my headteacher of my high school, i think it was he who changed all my life. He trusted me, encouraged me, and it was he who let me feel the love of a teacher and it was he who gave me confidence! And after my one year's work, i really find the importance of a teacher to the students. I want to be friends with them, i like chatting with them, i love them from my heart. Meanwhile, i really find that it is difficult and tired to be a teacher, especially a good teacher. I'm happy when my students do well in their study, I even cried when they failed. In one word, I have a new understanding of teachers. And what about you? What do you think of teachers?

Hello,my name is Yasmin, from Jakarta,Indonesia.Where are you from?I am also an English teacher, but not for school.I teach mostly for corporate classes.Actually,I have been teaching for almost 6 years and still i keep learning..I agree with you..If we see our students can do well/with confident, we are so happy more than anything else.It happened when i was assigned to teach English for school officer in a school. My friend handled teacher training at the same time. When the term was about to end, there was a competition. For teachers, the competition was how to deliver their lessons in English, and for my officer class, the competition was about the presentation,so my students who range from vice principal to office boys had to deliver presentation about their job/routine..Despite some grammatical errors and limitied vocabulary, i was glad to see my students performed confidently, even the principal was surprised to see offcie boys, depsite their limited educational background, could try to sepak English, eventhough there was mispell or grammatical error..And the event was really fun!We didn`t care who won or lost, everyone is the WINNER,everyone in EXCELLENT and i am, as teacher, really happy and motivated to do better next time,to encourage my students to speak English confidently..Happy teaching for all teachers all around the world!!

Hi, I come from a small city in China. Glad to meet you, friend. I'm very sorry that my English is so poor and sometimes i can't express myself clearly. I think you are a good teacher. During these days, i suddenly find to be a teacher is really very tired...

Teacher: A sculpture who moulds one to get the best from it.
The quality of the sculpturer definitely matters since that dictates the quality of work.

I like my teachers. I think they are great people who change the life of many students. Although I feel that some of them misunderstood me, in my opinion, they are still doing a good job. Thanks to my teachers that I become what I am today.
Happy Teacher's Day.
